Er ist besser ausgebaut und weniger ausgesetzt als der K\u00f6nigsweg nach Pa\u00fal do Mar, und \u00fcber weite Strecken offen \u2014 die Westk\u00fcste liegt fast durchgehend im Wer beide an einem Tag geht, sollte wissen, dass das zweimal rund f\u00fcnfhundert H\u00f6henmeter Gef\u00e4lle sind.<\/p>\n<h2>Die Runde mit der PR 19<\/h2>\n<p>Die naheliegende Kombination: \u00fcber die PR 19 nach Pa\u00fal do Mar absteigen, an der K\u00fcste nach <strong>Jardim do Mar<\/strong> hin\u00fcber, und \u00fcber die PR 20 zur\u00fcck nach Prazeres aufsteigen. Das ergibt einen guten halben bis ganzen Tag mit einem einzigen Startpunkt \u2014 und das Auto steht am Ende richtig, was auf dieser Insel selten genug ist.<\/p>\n<p>Zu beachten: <strong>zwei klassifizierte Wege, zwei Reservierungen<\/strong>, und der R\u00fcckweg ist dann ein echter Anstieg.<\/p>\n<h2>Jardim do Mar<\/h2>\n<p>Ein Dorf auf einem Felsvorsprung \u00fcber dem Meer, autofrei im alten Kern, mit gepflasterten Gassen und einer Promenade an der Brandung. Unter Surfern hat der Ort einen Namen; f\u00fcr Wanderer ist er vor allem ein guter Platz f\u00fcr die Pause vor dem R\u00fcckweg.<\/p>\n<h2>Anfahrt<\/h2>\n<p>Prazeres liegt an der ER 101 im Westen, \u00fcber die Schnellstra\u00dfe von Funchal in gut einer Stunde erreichbar.
