nicht sinnvoll begehbar<\/strong> \u2014 das Handylicht reicht nicht, und es ist die Hand, die man am Gel\u00e4nder braucht.<\/p>\n<p>Die letzten zwanzig Minuten zum Gipfel des Pico Ruivo f\u00fchren \u00fcber eine breite, gepflasterte Rampe. Nach dem Grat f\u00fchlt sie sich an wie ein B\u00fcrgersteig.<\/p>\n<h2>H\u00f6henangst<\/h2>\n<p>Der Weg ist durchgehend gesichert, mit Gel\u00e4ndern an jeder ernsten Stelle. Er ist trotzdem exponiert: Es gibt Passagen, an denen links und rechts einige hundert Meter Luft sind, und ein Gel\u00e4nder nimmt zwar das Risiko, nicht aber das Gef\u00fchl.<\/p>\n<p>Wer wei\u00df, dass er in solchem Gel\u00e4nde blockiert, geht besser die <a href=\"\/de\/pr1-2-pico-ruivo-achada-do-teixeira\/\">PR 1.2 von der Achada do Teixeira<\/a>. Sie endet auf demselben Gipfel, in einer statt drei Stunden, ohne einen einzigen ausgesetzten Meter.<\/p>\n<h2>Nebel, und warum morgens<\/h2>\n<p>Der Grat liegt genau auf der Wetterscheide zwischen Nord und S\u00fcd. Feuchte Luft vom Norden steigt am Hang auf und kondensiert \u2014 meist im Lauf des Vormittags. Wer um sieben startet, geht mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit \u00fcber einem geschlossenen Wolkenmeer. Wer um elf startet, geht oft in der Wolke.<\/p>\n<p>Deshalb fahren die Sonnenaufgangstouren zum Arieiro und nicht zum Ruivo: Der Aussichtspunkt am Startpunkt ist mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die aktuelle Warnlage f\u00fcr das Bergland steht neben diesem Text.<\/p>\n<h2>Anfahrt und R\u00fcckweg<\/h2>\n<p>Zum Pico do Arieiro f\u00fchrt die ER 202 von Poiso herauf; der Parkplatz liegt direkt am Startpunkt und ist an klaren Tagen ab acht Uhr voll.<\/p>\n<p>Das eigentliche Problem ist der R\u00fcckweg. <strong>Der Weg endet nicht dort, wo er anf\u00e4ngt.<\/strong> Drei M\u00f6glichkeiten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zur\u00fcck auf demselben Weg<\/strong> \u2014 dann sind es 12,2 Kilometer und rund sechs Stunden, mit dem gesamten Auf und Ab ein zweites Mal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weiter zur Achada do Teixeira<\/strong> und dort abgeholt werden. Der Abstieg dorthin ist die PR 1.2 r\u00fcckw\u00e4rts, gut eine Stunde.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"\/de\/wandertransfers\/\">Wandertransfer<\/a> buchen.<\/strong> Hinfahrt zum Arieiro, Abholung an der Achada. F\u00fcr diese Strecke ist das die verbreitetste L\u00f6sung, und nicht ohne Grund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Reservierung<\/h2>\n<p>Die PR 1 ist geb\u00fchrenpflichtig und reservierungspflichtig, und sie ist die teuerste der Insel \u2014 seit der vollst\u00e4ndigen Wiederer\u00f6ffnung im Mai 2026 mit einem eigenen Tarif. Gebucht wird \u00fcber SIMplifica in Zeitfenstern von 30 Minuten; wie das abl\u00e4uft, steht unter <a href=\"\/de\/wanderwege-reservieren-simplifica\/\">Wanderwege reservieren<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>H\u00e4ufige Fragen<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Wie schwer ist die PR 1 wirklich?<\/strong> Amtlich mittel. Konditionell ist sie das auch \u2014 drei Stunden, keine extremen Steigungen. Was sie fordert, ist Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit \u00fcber l\u00e4ngere Strecken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geht das mit Kindern?<\/strong> Mit trittsicheren, schwindelfreien Kindern ab etwa zehn Jahren und in Begleitung ja. F\u00fcr kleinere Kinder ist die <a href=\"\/de\/pr1-2-pico-ruivo-achada-do-teixeira\/\">PR 1.2<\/a> die richtige Wahl.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Braucht man einen Guide?<\/strong> Nein, der Weg ist nicht zu verfehlen.
