Von dort sind es noch zehn Minuten Treppe zum Gipfelkreuz.<\/p>\n<h2>Was man oben sieht<\/h2>\n<p>Bei klarer Sicht die halbe Insel: den Grat hin\u00fcber zum Pico do Arieiro, die Zackenk\u00e4mme des Zentralmassivs, an guten Tagen die K\u00fcste im Norden und S\u00fcden gleichzeitig. Bei geschlossener Wolkendecke unter dem Gipfel steht man \u00fcber dem Wolkenmeer \u2014 das Bild, f\u00fcr das die meisten Leute heraufkommen.<\/p>\n<p>Bei Wolken <em>auf<\/em> Gipfelh\u00f6he sieht man drei\u00dfig Meter weit. Es lohnt, den Wetterbericht neben diesem Text vorher anzusehen: Ein Nebeltag hier oben ist keine halbe Erfahrung, sondern gar keine.<\/p>\n<h2>Anfahrt<\/h2>\n<p>Zur Achada do Teixeira f\u00fchrt eine schmale, gut ausgebaute Stra\u00dfe von Santana herauf. Der Parkplatz liegt direkt am Wegbeginn. <strong>Der Weg endet dort, wo er anf\u00e4ngt<\/strong> \u2014 das Auto steht am Ende richtig, anders als bei fast allen anderen Wegen dieses Guides.<\/p>\n<p>Der zweite Grund, diesen Startpunkt zu kennen: Er ist das \u00fcbliche <strong>Ziel<\/strong> der PR 1. Wer den Grat vom Arieiro her\u00fcberkommt, steigt hier ab.<\/p>\n<h2>F\u00fcr wen<\/h2>\n<p>Das ist der Weg f\u00fcr alle, denen die PR 1 zu ausgesetzt ist: f\u00fcr Familien mit Kindern, f\u00fcr Menschen mit H\u00f6henangst, f\u00fcr einen halben Tag statt eines ganzen. Er ist amtlich als mittel eingestuft, was ausschlie\u00dflich an der Steigung liegt.<\/p>\n<p>Nicht geeignet ist er f\u00fcr Rollst\u00fchle oder Kinderwagen \u2014 gepflastert hei\u00dft hier grob gemauert, mit Stufen.<\/p>\n<h2>Reservierung<\/h2>\n<p>Wie alle klassifizierten PR-Wege ist auch dieser geb\u00fchren- und reservierungspflichtig. Gebucht wird \u00fcber SIMplifica, in Zeitfenstern von 30 Minuten. Der Ablauf steht unter <a href=\"\/de\/wanderwege-reservieren-simplifica\/\">Wanderwege reservieren<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>H\u00e4ufige Fragen<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Wie lange dauert es wirklich?<\/strong> Amtlich 1:30 f\u00fcr 2,8 Kilometer hin und zur\u00fcck. Realistisch eine gute Stunde hinauf, eine gute halbe zur\u00fcck, plus Zeit am Gipfel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ist es kalt?<\/strong> Auf 1857 Metern liegen ganzj\u00e4hrig zehn bis f\u00fcnfzehn Grad weniger an als in Funchal, dazu Wind. Im Winter kann es hier oben frieren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kann man von hier zur PR 1 weitergehen?<\/strong> Ja, das ist die \u00fcbliche Kombination in umgekehrter Richtung.
